Champagne Pascal hénin, Brut, grand cru, millésime 2011

15 in stock

The Grand Cru Millésime champagne of Pascal Hénin is the results of the unique 2011 harvest. It is a blend of 50% Chardonnay from the Chouilly Grand Cru village and 50% Pinot Noir of the famous also Grand Cru Aÿ village. The wine has been maturated on lees for a minimum of 5 years.

This Grand Cru Millésime cumulates all traditional aspects of great champagnes. The classical balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the long maturation on lees result in a very harmonious wine that can be tasted on great occasions.

The effervescence is moderate and gentle, the wine is fluent and the robe is golden and clear. The nose is fruity and fresh, slightly mineral, evolving toward more complex aromas. In the mouth, the wine is immediately intense and complete, revealing initial discrete citrus fruit acidity and white flowers tastes followed by more complex but rich flavors of red berries, forest and black tea.
